“I chose to commit to Missouri State because I want to play to the best of my ability, be challenged on a day to day basis and I want to win. I want to win a National Championship and I believe the Ice Bears give me the best chance of that,†said Perron.
The 6’2 power forward models his game after Corey Perry of the Anaheim Ducks. “He is a gritty, tough, sturdy hockey player who is good at protecting the puck and can score. I play high intensity hockey. I believe I play big, I hit hard, grind harder and can put the puck in the net. I hope to help the Bears both on and off the ice with my positive attitude and hard work.â€
Perron’s goal is to win a Division I National Championship at Missouri State. “My personal goal is to do my best every day, every practice and every training session, in my school work and to be an elite hockey player.â€
While in Springfield, Perron plans on studying business marketing.
When he is not on the ice or in the classroom, you can find the Canadian forward outdoors. His hobbies include: golfing, fishing, hiking, boating, and other sports.
