Goaltender Griffin chooses Missouri State

SPRINGFIELD, MO — Goaltender, Brady Griffin, is the first goaltender to commit to Missouri State for the 2016-2017 season. The 6′-3″ goaltender spent last season with the Minnesota Flying Aces of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL).

The Glen Carbon, Illinois native grew up playing for the Affton Americans and the Twin Bridges Lightning in the Central States Development Hockey League. While in high school, Griffin captured an MVCHA championship with the Edwardsville Tigers.

“I chose Missouri State University because it is one of the top universities in the area. I love the atmosphere, the size, and the location;” said Griffin.

The “south paw” describes himself as a hard working goalie who uses his speed and size to his advantage.

While attending Missouri State, Griffin hopes to go to the ACHA National Championship Tournament and bring MSU, its first National Title.
