Back for his second stint with the Missouri State Ice Bears, Tony Dunseith will take over the reigns of the Division 2 team starting with the 2010-2011 hockey season. An assistant coach with the Ice Bears for the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 seasons under Benjamin Alexander (119-76-9 from 2001-2007) it's a change in circumstance that gives the Springfield resident the opportunity to return to coaching college hockey.

The Ice Bears' second mini-camp will be held at Mediacom Ice Park in Springfield on July 10th (4:30-6:45 p.m.) and July 11th (9:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m.) PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A CHANGE FROM THE ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED DATES OF JULY 24/25. The fee to attend a single camp is $45 with a 7-day advanced registration/payment, or $55 at the door (acceptance cannot be guaranteed). Ice Bears General Manager Stan Melton's mother, Jean Sanders Melton, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 85. The entire Ice Bears organization extends its sympathies to Stan and his family.
